About us

Made with care, one word at a time

WordSpin is a calm word puzzle — the kind of thing you open to unwind, not to chase a streak. It's made by two people who like building small, gentle apps together.

Who we are

We're not a company or a big studio — just two people who make small, calm apps together, and WordSpin is one of them. We build the sort of apps we'd want to use ourselves: gentle, uncluttered and happy to work offline. No pressure, no endless pop-ups — just a wheel of letters and a quiet crossword grid. WordSpin started from one simple idea: that spelling a word letter by letter is one of the most relaxing little rituals there is, and it shouldn't come wrapped in streaks, timers and coin shops.

The two of us are Nadya Yashchuk and Ivan Lukichev, and we handle everything ourselves — design, development and support. We work remotely, and our apps are officially published as a small sole proprietorship registered in Austria; the formal details live in our Impressum. Because it's just the two of us, every app stays personal — we choose what to build, answer our own email, and shape each release around what players actually ask for.

We brought WordSpin to the App Store and Google Play in 2026, and we're only getting started — new levels, worlds and little improvements land all the time.

What WordSpin does

WordSpin gives you 3–7 letters on a circular wheel; drag across them to spell words, and the ones you find fill in a crossword grid. There are 460 hand-crafted levels across five world themes, drawn from a 9,432-word curated dictionary — and every single level is free for every player.

Play free in your browser

You don't even need to install anything to start. Ten levels from the real game play right here on the site — no download, no sign-up, straight in your browser. The full 460-level game lives in the iOS and Android apps.

Our other apps

WordSpin is part of a small family of calm apps. If you enjoy coloring, try Pixel Paint, our pixel art coloring app. And if you like word games with a bit more pace, there's Word Chain — each word starts with the last letter of the one before. We build every app with the same promise: simple, friendly, and made to relax rather than distract.

Say hello

We genuinely read what people send us, and a lot of what goes into the apps comes from player suggestions. Questions, ideas, bug reports or just a kind word — reach us at contact@nadzeyayashchuk.com. For legal and company details, see our Impressum and Privacy Policy.
